Today I used Urban Decay's Book of Shadows Vol II...
I used Jinx from the inner corner to about 3/4 of the way on my eyelid, then Gunmetal from there to the outer corner. YDK in the crease and Sellout from crease to brow bone...

So I've decided to do a makeup 365 and do my makeup everyday for a year. Today is Day 1! Not everyday will be a tutorial like this...only when I have time...

Ok I started with NYX eye pencil in Milk:
Then I applied Lime Crime Treasure Chest to the inner corner to about the middle of my eye:Then Lime Crime Siren from the middle to the outer corner:Then I finished with some Urban Decay Underground in the crease, UD Shag to the brow bone, Hard Candy Walk the Line eyeliner in Asphalt on top lash line, UD 24/7 eyeliner in Zero on bottom water line, Mary Kay mascara in black, and finished with Hard Candy Visibly wet lip pencil in a red with no name:

I love Lime Crime! I love the fact that they don't try to be normal. I love the fact that they are making unique beautiful. There really aren't too many websites where you can buy a light blue lipstick like No She Didn't.

Which is a beautiful color. I personally own Airborne Unicorn which is a lovely light purple. Not as light as a lilac but almost.
Through using Lime Crime makeup I've helped people understand that sometimes bright is beautiful. Even one of my more conservative friends loves Airborne Unicorn on herself, and is constantly borrowing it! Plus they come in super cute packaging, so it's just fun to use!

Now the Magic Dusts for your eyes are also really wonderful! I have about 6 of the colors and can't wait to get more. They are just the perfect way to make your eyes really pop! They are very versatile as well, you can use them wet or dry, as eyeshadow or eyeliner, you could even use some of the colors as blush if you wanted.

I have bought more makeup from Lime Crime! 2 Lipsticks and a Red Magic Eye Dusts that I can't wait to try! I've also bout some NYX. I got 2 Cream Glitter Palettes which I'm not 100% sure about yet, so I keep playing with them to see. I also got 2 of their eyeshadow pencils. I'm kinda impressed with them. The black one covers great!

Today I was in a brightly colored mood, so I used all Lime Crime powders. Inner corner- Lime Crime-Treasure Chest. Outer Corn
Crease to brow- Lime Crime-Cleopatra. Waterline and lower lash line-Lime Crime-Shoe Addict.

I'm really a huge fan of Lime Crime. It's so bright, and lots of different colors and shades. My favorite that I have so far is Princess Caraboo and Shoe Addict. On the October 1st they are coming out with a few fun and functional lipstick colors, You should definitely check it out! The packaging is adorable! Blue Pink, and Purple Rhinestones.

I love using rhinestones! I did this whole look today, minus the rhinestones, using Urban Decay's Book of Shadows Vol. II. I highly recommend the Book of Shadows, because they have a ton of useful colors, you can really do any kind of look from them. I, of course, started with Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion on my lids, which also comes with, and stores in this palette, which I think is wayy cool. Hopefully they will sell little primer potions in that size so you can replenish...but either way it's pretty awesome.

Okay in the Inner corner I used Jinx, which I'm pretty sure is a color exclusive to this palette, but I'm not 100% sure on that.Then I used Flipside on the Outer Corner, The colors are not drastically different. Flipside is slightly more green then Jinx but it didn't really show up as being that different, IMO.
In the crease I used Homegrown, from the crease to the brow I used Sellout, which is a really pretty peachy shimmer color that worked great for me. For my water line, I used the 24/7 pencil, Bourbon that is included in the book of shadows, and to give it a kinda smokey look I used Misdemeanor underneath my lower lashes.

I'm pretty pleased with it. I really liked the colors and it of course lasted all day. Tomorrow I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I do have an event tomorrow night, so we shall see what I come up with!

Halloween is coming! I actually just did this for fun, but it would work for halloween too!

The design I did using a Hard Candy eyeliner pencil in Galaxy.

I filled in my eyebrows to make more of an impact, and I used Urban Decay-Gash to do that.

I got the Dragonfly from a bead seller on Etsy and used regular Elmer's glue to hold it on. If you're going to be sweating, I do not recommend using Elmer's glue. You can use Eyelash glue, and that's a bit stronger.

Okay, so I bought Arkham Asylum the other day, and was playing. The Joker is in it and I was inspired by the colors he had, so I did a little makeup look!

Here is what I used:
Too Faced Diamond Deluxe Kit-The green eyeshadow, in the corner of my eye
Urban Decay- Flash Eyeshadow in the Center
Urban Decay-Graffiti Eyeshadow in the outer edge
Urban Decay- Ransom Eyeshadow in the crease

Absinthe

Ok this look is called Absinthe, mostly just because I like the word and that's the name of one of the eyeshadows I used.

Originally I was trying to use all one kit, the Too Faced Pink Diamonds Edition, but I didn't really like how the eyeshadow was going.

Cheeks- Too Faced Pink Diamonds Edition
Lips- Hard Candy Pigment Stain in Piglet and Lip Gloss in Flirt

Eyes- Urban Decay Book of Shadows and Graffiti.
I used Absinthe in the inner corner to about halfway over my lid. Then I used Graffiti from mid lid to outer corner. I used Protest in the crease to give some depth. Then I brushed Baked from the crease to brow line. I lined under my eyes with Mayhem.

I really seem to like Purple and green together. OHH and I got the VOL II book of shadows from Urban Decay a couple weeks ago! It's wonderful, I really recommend the books of shadows to anyone!

Welcome to my new makeup blog!

I'll start out a little bit about myself...
I'm 25, really into bright bright bright colors, I have a dog named Reks, and I hope to eventually be a fantastic makeup artist!

I'm going to use this blog, to post makeup looks I do on myself and others, I'm shooting for 1 look a week, I would love suggestions and feedback on anything. I'll also be reviewing makeup brands and tools as I get them. Eventually I hope to graduate to video tutorials, so I'm going to start testing out a few of those and you can all tell me what you think!
